AI data policy

How we protect your business data when we build AI tools for you.

Last updated: 29 September 2026

The short version

  1. You own your data. We never sell it. We use it only to do the work you asked for.
  2. No training on your data. We use business AI services whose terms say your data is not used to train their models.
  3. Only what is needed. The AI sees only the data the task needs. We remove personal details where we can.
  4. Small, named team. Only the people on your project can see your data. We sign an NDA if you want one.
  5. A person checks. Your staff approve important AI output (quotes, prices, customer replies) before customers see it.
  6. Agreed in writing. The AI service we use, where your data is stored and when it is deleted are written into your project agreement.

1. Who we are

Continental Bridge Pty Ltd, ABN 11 678 164 264, Suite 410, 89 High Street, Kew VIC 3101. Contact: inquiry@continentalbridge.com.au, hotline 0450 527 183.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers data you share with us when we build or run AI tools for your business ("AI projects"). Our Privacy Policy covers everything else.

3. What data we use

Only the data the agreed task needs. For example: product lists, price lists, past orders, customer questions or supplier invoices. We agree the list with you in writing before the pilot starts.

4. How we use it

  • To build, test and run the AI tool you asked for.
  • Never to sell, rent or share with other clients.
  • Never to train public AI models.

5. AI services we use

We use business (API) plans from established AI providers. Under their business terms, the data we send is not used to train their models. Which provider we use depends on the project and your needs. We name it in your project agreement before any data is sent.

6. Where data is stored

Where your data is stored and processed depends on the project and your needs. We agree the location with you in writing, in your project agreement, before the project starts.

7. Who can see it

Only the named team members on your project. Who they are, and where they work from, is set out in your project agreement. All staff sign confidentiality terms. We sign an NDA with you on request.

8. Personal information

We remove or hide personal details (names, phone numbers, emails) when the task does not need them. We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

9. A person stays in charge

For tasks that affect customers or money (quotes, prices, replies), a person on your team approves the AI output before it is sent.

10. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and named accounts only. We remove access when a team member leaves the project.

11. Keeping and deleting data

We keep project data only as long as your project agreement says. When the project ends, we delete it or return it to you, in the time agreed in that agreement, unless the law says we must keep it.

12. Data breaches

If your data is exposed, we tell you as soon as we know, and we follow the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

13. Questions or complaints
